Fighting evil

The White Council is attacking Dol Guldur, and Elrond leads the charge…or what are we really seeing here…? ๐Ÿ™‚

Another outfit for my new masquerade cathegory. This time I’ve tried to copy Elrond’s outfit that he wears in the battle of Dol Guldur, in the Hobbit movies. The leggings was the big problem here, I found a piece that was a very close match, but alas, it wouldn’t dye the same rich shade of rust as the other pieces (and the other items wouldn’t dye the same pale shade as the leggings…), so I decided I’d rather use these ones, in a more correct colour match (they are a bit too dark, but not so bad) . Below is a picture of Hugo Weaving as Elrond, wearing the outfit I tried to copy (photo from, as well as a pic of the leggings I would’ve wanted to use. I did have a lot of fun doing this outfit, I’ve never tried copying something from outside the game before ๐Ÿ™‚ The picture of Elrond doesn’t show his sword, but he wields this rather elegant curved blade in the movie, and I happened to find a very good match for it while questing on my hunter.

Wow this has to be one of my all time favorite cosmetics! saving this one for sure! Easily the most accurate movie-outfit I’ve seen in 4 years of cosmetic blogging! (Especially since everyone and their cousin figured out how to make “Gandalf” out of a LM and those Robes from Halls of Night ๐Ÿ˜› ) Excellent! Well done! Defiantly going to use this on one of my chars! ๐Ÿ™‚
